ILL Request Form: Book

The Library is implementing a more efficient process for requesting books through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). This requires that all book requests go through WorldCat, the main source of our ILL requests.

To find a book on your topic, go to WorldCat and type in your keywords. You can limit the search to ONLY BOOKS by checking the box beside Books under the Format section. Specify a LANGUAGE, if you would like only results in a language you speak. Specify DATES (i.e., 2005-2008), if you want only current materials.

Once you have found a relevant item, click on the title in the Results List in order to view that individual item.

When you are on the individual record page, notice the row of black buttons near the top of the page. The third from the LEFT says "ILL" underneath it. This means Interlibrary Loan. If you click this button, a form will appear into which you can type your name, campus address, and email address, so that we can contact you when your book arrives.

When you click SUBMIT, it will automatically be sent to the ILL office and you will receive notice when your book arrives and is ready for pick-up.
